What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goals were to consistently improve during the season physically/mentally while also earning first team All-Conference and All-American. I did improve my abilities physically and mentally but only earned second team All-conference and Honorable mention for Special teams University All American selection.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I took advantage of my extra year of eligibility by developing more in the weight room and on the field with snapping.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would describing me as a focused and hard working player.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When watching film, I look for areas in my technique that could be improved. Once I figure out what needs improvement, I work with my snapping coach to implement drills that will make the necessary changes.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I believe athleticism will separate me from many other prospects at my position. I was a 3 sport athlete in high school (football, basketball, Track) while earning All State at Left Guard. Previously playing on the offensive line will also help me with adjusting to pro style punt schemes where the long snapper is needed to block.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Starting in January, I will be attending the Special Teams U Elite Pro Camp, along with the Specialist event at the 2022 College Gridiron Showcase. Both these camps will give me the tools and exposure needed to play at the next level. Following the camps, I plan to train in Seattle, where I will prepare for my Pro day.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I have a strong mindset that allows me to handle high pressure situations. On and off the field, any organization would be getting a player who holds themselves to a high standard.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Any team willing to take a chance on me should know that they are getting a player who understands what it takes to play at this level. I will give my best effort every day and do what it takes to help the team be successful. I just need the opportunity to show it.
