Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The main goal was to win another conference championship making it our third in a row, which we succeeded in.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I’m someone who empties the tank and leaves it all on the field no matter the situation. Willing to do whatever is asked.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
The defensive fronts first, that way knowing how to attack it. Then how players react to certain things. Whether the defenders tackle low or go for the big hit, wrapping up or not. Or if they leave their feet to tackle.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
Knowledge of the game, I have a high football IQ and am very coachable. The ability to learn and pick up on different things very quickly.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Training in Greenville, South Carolina for pro day on March 12.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
A very versatile player, whether it’s running inside , outside or even lining up at receiver. Bounced around a good but of college depending on the game plan feeling comfortable in all situations. Moving very well in space. A leader on and off the field by example and action, i look at teammates as my brothers so willing to do whatever it to help anyone out who needs it in whatever they may be dealing with.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
You’re getting someone who will give it their all every single day. Willing to learn and play any role that is asked. Doing it to the best of my ability. A leader on and off the field and someone that can be trusted to do the right things on a consistent basis. I’ve been preparing for this moment for my entire life, excited to get started on the journey.
