What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I wanted to be 4x All Conference and I was able to accomplish that. Other goals I had was to break the school TFL record and win a championships.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I got a lot bigger and stronger, I was able to add some weight and really took the time during the summer to fix little things in my game that could take me to another level.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

A competitive individual and leader who plays fast with a high motor, a player that is always gonna show up and give his all. Of course they will all say that I am fun and the best dancer on the team.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Hand placement is always something I look at, how I attack the tackles, where my eyes are and how I play different blocks and techniques.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I’m not just a 3rd down pass rush specialist, I like playing physical and being in the box, I love being involved in the run game.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am currently training with Chase Hollmer and Mike Zweifel in Bettendorf and Dubuque. Two amazing and smart guys, who are definitely preparing me for the future.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Length and speed, my IQ and willingness to study the game off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I have always been counted out and have rose to every single occasion. From being 1st Team All District in HS and being the only one on the list not heavily recruited, from even being doubted in college, I have always risen to the challenge and “surpassed expectations”. You’ll be getting a great leader and person who is always going to give their all.
