Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

As the only senior starting in the 2 deep during the 2019 season, immediately my first goal was to be a team captain. I knew that I was the oldest on a young talented offense and I wanted to be a leader of that unit. I would eventually be named team captain after gaining the trust and respect of my fellow teammates and coaches. I also wanted to be trusted to make the biggest plays in the most important moments. During the season I was the go to player on a number of 3rd and 4th down conversions in crucial situations. As far as team goals, I wanted us to be outright conference champions then national champions. Despite falling two games short of reaching that goal, I was proud of my teammates and the run we had.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe my coaches and teammates would call me a leader by example. As a underclassman, the one way I learned to be a great player was by following and paying close attention to the best role models on the team. I wanted to be the same example to my younger teammates that he was for me. I also believe that they would call me a fierce competitor. Most winners hate losing, but most competitors hate being outworked at what they do. I never wanted to be outworked.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I take time to break down myself own film to see what I can improve on. I try to make it a priority to improve week by week.

Also when studying film there are 3 things I focus on to help me improve my game. 1. What are we doing, 2. How are we doing it. 3. Why we are doing it… I also take those 3 questions and apply them to our opponents film. Once I become comfortable with our game plan and the teams, I’ll begin to break down players and their tendencies.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What I believe separates me from other prospects is my work ethic, my competitiveness, consistency, and accountability. As a WR, I believe that my skills in being a route runner separates me from most. I am also able to track the ball And catch it above my head. I can be relied upon for 3rd and 4th down conversion. And I also take pride in special teams.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

This offseason I have been training at Total Sports In Wixom, Michigan with trainer Jim Keilbaso.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I bring a number of good qualities to a team on and off the field. Im all about the “culture” and i believe in being a team first kind of guy. Also I have never been in any kind of trouble off the field. On the field I bring explosive plays and competitiveness.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other pro leagues?

If you want a hard working, motivated and competitive football player then I am the one. I personally don’t come from much so theres always been a chip on my shoulder to prove that I belong. Once i do that, Il want to prove I can be one of the best on a team. I also believe I am a lifelong learner, so theres in not point where I feel that I have “arrived”. I will always be trying to prove my worth day by day.
