Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

During my final collegiate season, the goal that I set for myself was to be the best athlete, team player, and student that I could be. During this season, I met the goals that I set for myself and accomplished more than I thought. I became a team captain and vocal leader for the football team. I also broke the record for career receptions and I am the new leader in receiving touchdowns in Southeastern University history.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I am a true leader and student of the game. I take time to make sure all of my teammates are good on and off the field and I’m always interacting with coaches. They would also say that I have the mindset to keep everything positive because that is when everyone clicks and the team becomes unstoppable.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film I watch the little details and technique. This includes watching the number of steps I take during a route and watching to see if I am watching the ball all the way to the tuck. I am my biggest critique so even when I make a big play I find something that could’ve been done better and work on it that next week in practice.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The things that separate me from other pro prospects at my position would be the ability to run persistent routes at my size and speed. I can be a neat route runner and also go up and win a jump ball. I would consider myself an all around receiver and not just one-dimensional.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

During the off-season I will be training and preparing with my college weight coach, Akeem Robinson. He has played D1 football at Clemson and I plan to pick his brain while we train this off-season to see what I can improve on in order to improve my skills.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strengths and abilities that I will bring are enthusiasm, positive energy, and the drive to be great in every aspect of life. I also am a team player and have the ability to bring players closer together so that we are a family on and off the field. The game of football has helped me grow as the man I am today.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues would be that I could be a great asset to any team that I am apart of. I have the drive, determination, and perseverance to push myself so that I give my very best and make sure that my teammates are giving their best as well. I can be a motivator and make sure that everybody feels like family. I am willing to work hard and improve my talent and skills to be the better athlete and a person on and off the field.
