Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

I accomplished heading into my final collegiate season better foot work, blocking, patience, overall route running, and studying my opponent’s weakness.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

If you would ask my coaches what type of player I am, they would say that I’m an unselfish player. I will do anything that they would ask me to do without me complaining about it. They would tell you that I’m all about winning. Another thing is they would tell you that they never heard me complaining about getting the ball.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film, I study every single person on defense from the defensive linemen to the safety. I watch how quickly the linebackers get back into they zone and cover. I watched which linebacker I can create a mismatch with and what route would be most effective on him. I watched to see if the defensive backs are well coached up and fundamentally sound. I watched to see if they are over aggressive on defense or if they are conservative. Most importantly, I like to watch them in the fourth to see if they have the same energy they had for the first three quarters.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

What separates me is that I’m a competitor, it does not matter who steps on that field with me, I will compete. My IQ for the game is very high. What separates me from others in my position is because I can be a matchup threat such as being a fullback and then lining up as TE. I can breakdown different defensive schemes that the opponent’s defense throws at me. You can put me anywhere on the field and I will make a play.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I will be training back home at Brooklyn Health and Performance. My trainer is working on my speed, vertical leap, and explosiveness. Getting my weight down to 255 OR 250.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The kind of strengths and abilities I would bring to a team would be my playing making. Being able to play Tight End and Fullback. Not just one position. I can also play special teams and be a playmaker and game changer. My ability to create mismatches on the field, and my ability to run block.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My final pitch to NFL and other pro league scouts is that you will be getting someone who would be in it to win it. 100 percent committed to whatever needs to be done. Come in ready to work every single day. Also, my ability to make plays either if its blocking or passing. You would be able to put me in different positions on the field. All I ever needed was an opportunity to show everyone what I am about and what I can do.
