Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

Off the field I was able to graduate college, a goal I have had set for myself for a long time. On the field, I accomplished my goal of leading the defensive line with TFL’s/ Sacks.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say that I am an instinctive player with a high motor. A player who understands defensive schemes and focuses on doing his job.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I watch the OLine and try to spot their tendencies. Their pre-snap reads, if they tend to lean, if their stance is unbalanced, anything that I can spot and can give me an advantage. Then I look at their personnel to help me familiarize myself with what play I might be getting.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

Consistency is something that separates myself. My mentality is do my job first and every play.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I am working with Stephen Cook at Upper Level Fitness. With his help I aim to get myself in the best shape possible to perform leading up to pro day and the draft.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I love to compete, and my energy follows me on and off the field. When I show up to work, the energy has to be infectious. I would bring leadership to a team and would quickly gain respect among my teammates and coaches through my work ethic.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

You’re going to get an honest hardworking player who loves the game and plays it with a team first mentality. Someone who takes their job serious, and has fun while doing it. Not a guy you will have to worry about off the field, and will compete and fulfill my role for the team everyday, whatever that may be.
