Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My main goal was to win a conference championship and we fell short by one game. My personal goal was to lead the conference in TFLs and sacks, but I placed second in each of those. In 2021 I was second team all conference, so this year I strived to be first team all conference and achieved that as well as second team All-New England.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe my coaches and teammates would say I’m always giving effort on and off the field. I think they would also describe me as very accountable and coachable. I’m always ready for criticism and anything that can help me improve my game.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I really focus on my technique and steps when watching film. I watch how the offensive line moves as a whole and where they’re most vulnerable. When watching scouting film, I key how the offensive tackles set and where I can expose their weaknesses.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I’m versatile as defensive lineman. I primarily play the edge, but throughout the season I would match up against guards and centers as well. I feel comfortable doing both well.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I want to put on about 15-20 pounds by the summer, so eating well is my biggest priority. I’m going to work with some of my teammates and coaches with field workouts to better my hands and feet.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m very observant and learn quickly which helps me adapt to change in game as well as learning a defense. I am a team player. I’ll accept any role to help my team win and get better. I think my length and football IQ could help any team.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’ve worked hard to get where I am, and I will continue to work to better myself as a man and player. I’m looking to learn and I’m very coachable. I’ll always work through adversity and be ready to compete.
