Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The goals I set for myself going into the season was for perfect operations when it came to practice and games. My second goal was more of a promise to myself to stay after practice to get extra reps in because I couldn’t get as many practice reps in with the amount of time we practice. Through the season I continued to work on my craft and saw great improvements in my foot work and how I can league a team. The main goal I had for the season was to help the team make the playoffs. I wanted to lead by example, speak my words into existence and be a great example for the players that where under me.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I am a very chill person. Cool, calm and collective type of guy. I’m a character, great friend and very reliable. I know when to turn on the switch when it comes down to business. I am a consistent player who will get the job done when needed. A player who’s a first team player, and a player who’s willing to coach others.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I focus on the small details, like how fast I’m taking my drop steps , looking at the timing of when and where should the ball be out of my hands and making sure I’m executing all my techniques precisely. I also focus on my opponent’s defense. I got so use to watching film and now that when games are on tv , I tend to watch more of what the defense does then to catch on the offense of side.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Being able to get moving forward when I get knock down. Throughout my whole life I’ve been getting knock down by facing adversity, hitting bumpy roads and knowing that somethings may not happen the way you want it to. I take the time to make sure I focus on all aspects of my game and not just be one dimensional. Being gifted not only to throw a football , but to have the ability to be very mobile and to have a quick release when throwing.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’ve been currently ongoing my training process. I’ve been training with Athletics: Sports and Performance with DeAnthony Williams I have a consistent routine as to how, where and when to train including dietary planning as well. I throw with my college WR’s and train with a Quarterback coach. Getting myself prepared for my Pro Day In a few months.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring toughness and dedication to the team on the field. I will also provide the team with someone that will bring it every time I step on the field. A player who will uplift the team when the game isn’t going the way it suppose to go.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I take pride in putting the team first knowing that the goal is to win a championship, and as a player I’ll do whatever the team needs me to do in any of the three phases to help the team be successful. I’m an everyday guy that loves to compete and show up to work each day with a blue collar mindset ready to get after it and push myself and my teammates to a higher level both in off-season preparation as well as their performance on the field.
