Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goal for this last season was to make my presence felt and lead my team everyday the best way i know how. Become better everyday as a unit and as a leader.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I’m a leader, hard worker, and that i always bring the juice.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I’m watching film i look at the small details, if i took the right step, my pad level, hands, and most importantly i watch my opponent’s formation, and what plays they run out of those formations. The way the offensive linemen takes their first step, and try to find a weakness and use it against them. Basically taking mental reps while i watch film and break it down.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me is my motor, strength and my attitude. My love for this game and dedication and time i have put into it everyday.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I’m working out at LJ performance and getting ready for the next level. I also work with BT Jordan. These are the best trainers out there. When I’m not with them I’m on the field by myself getting better.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
For any team i would be able to bring what they’re looking for as an interior defensive lineman. I played anything from a 0 tech to a 4i. Im a run stopper but at the same time i can rush the qb. I never give up on a play. Playing through the whistle separates me from others. I would be able to take on double teams and do whats needed for the team to be successful. Im coachable and can be depended on when a plays need to be made.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other pro leagues?
My final pitch is that any team i get an opportunity to play with will get a dedicated harder work and who comes everyday ready to work on and off the field.
