What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My Final collegiate season didn’t go as plan both my grandparents died from cancer and I was mentally devastated by those events in my life.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I had 2 years away from football during Covid and I’ve always kept goal playing in the NFL. I just have to stay ready and when the opportunity comes for me to be the best I can be.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My previous teammates and coaches would say I’m very aware, and quick on the field.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When I’m studying film I’m look for the quarterback’s tendencies how often he throws to his best receivers. I’m also paying attention what type of routes my opponents run. That way when I’m on the field I can visualize the receiver in front of me. I can improve at securing the ball when it’s in the air.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I may be 5’10 194 but my arms are long and I react to the ball quicker with my speed at my position.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My off-season plan is mostly lifting heavy 3 times a week and 4 times a week doing yoga, cardio, and field work.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I bring in a lot of energy to the game of football. If there is no one loud early in practice getting the team ready then I’m the guy to get everybody locked in and loaded to go. That’s just the passion I bring to any team.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My pitch to the NFL is everyone loves an underdog that story of adversity when you think there is nothing beyond that Mountain. I’m the man still climbing that mountain even when nobody else is looking.
